What is a Relationship-Building Loan?

We offer a small, short-term loan that serves as a way for us to get to know one another. GoodBread will get to know you and your business, and you’ll get to know and feel comfortable with us. It’s a great opportunity for small business owners who are looking for extra capital to put into their business as well as a potentially longer-term business partnership.

Are there only small loans available now?

Right now, yes. We will offer larger loans in the future.

Why are you doing this?

We want to create a more equitable underwriting experience for small business owners. You’re not just your credit score or other string of numbers, and we’re looking to find ways to even the playing field when it comes to small business lending. We want to bring more trust and transparency to the underwriting process, so small business owners can feel confident in their borrowing decisions.

How are you different from other lenders or banks?

Our underwriting process takes many factors into consideration, far beyond your credit score. At GoodBread, we aim to disrupt the status quo of lending by looking at the whole person and business, not JUST the numbers. Our goal is to change the way small business owners can access more dough by making the loan application process as transparent as possible.
